The Overall Experience
Let me start off by saying, I didn’t get a say in naming the podcast episode, but these guys couldn’t have picked a better one! So cheers for incorporating “wanger” into a title, making my love for all things UK even stronger (can I say Burberry and Jimmy Choo?!).
It also makes me even more excited to be speaking at ProcureCon EU in London later this year! Woot woot. Block your calendars people! It’s June 9th – 11th.
Now I’ve only done one another podcast (with Phillip at the AOP), so I kind of new what to expect, but given there was a third person in the mix it changed the dynamnics ever so slightly.
I couldn’t have had more of a fun time talking with Mike and Jeremy. They had me laughing throughout the entire process. They were funny, honest, and most importantly – sincere.
They also hold a special place in my heart as they have a ‘tell it like it is’ approach. Something I highly respect given my personal, direct communication style.
I mean, it takes cajones to produce a podcast called “Freelance bid writing and how not to be a spectacular dou***bag.” Don’t you think?
So check out the podcast above, and subscribe to The Red Review. My only hope is that they can produce more ‘real’ podcasts in the near future. I’ll be listening!
